We once tested 7-year-old Panasonic cells and found less than 1% capacity loss compared to new Panasonic cells. We have no reason to assume that even in 2031 they will not still have at least 98% capacity. These are lithium batteries and very stable. They will not leak unlike alkaline batteries. If you have doubts, please do not buy them.
