Victron 12V/130Ah AGM Deep Cycle Battery – BAT412121084: Batteries equipped with VRLA technology from Victron Energy. Hermetically sealed batteries with low self-discharge that allow for long-term storage without affecting their performance.
The AGM range has a very low internal resistance, making it especially suitable for high current discharge applications, such as inverters or propulsion systems, as well as for starting vehicle engines like in caravans, golf carts, or household appliances like refrigerators and washing machines.
VRLA Technology
In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed into a fiberglass mat between the plates by capillary action. AGM batteries are more suitable for short-term delivery of very high currents (engine starting) than gel batteries.
Victron 12V/130Ah AGM Deep Cycle Battery – BAT412121084: Low Self-Discharge
Due to the use of lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods without needing to be recharged. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. The self-discharge doubles with every 10°C increase in temperature. Therefore, Victron AGM batteries can be stored for up to a year without recharging, if kept in the right humidity and temperature conditions.
