The Victron BatteryProtect 12/24V-65A provides reliable protection against deep discharge and overvoltage, helping to extend battery life and protect connected equipment from harmful voltage fluctuations. The system automatically disconnects non-essential loads before the battery reaches a critical discharge level, ensuring sufficient power remains available for essential applications.
The BatteryProtect supports both 12V and 24V battery systems and automatically detects the system voltage during installation. Thanks to its programmable voltage thresholds, the device can be easily configured for different battery chemistries, including lead-acid and lithium batteries. It also features a dedicated operating mode for use with a Battery Management System (BMS), making it especially suitable for modern lithium energy storage systems.
Using advanced MOSFET switching technology, the BatteryProtect operates without mechanical relays. This eliminates sparking during switching, resulting in greater reliability, longer service life, and safe operation even in demanding environments. In addition, the device includes an alarm output, overvoltage protection, and delayed disconnect and reconnect functions to help prevent unnecessary power interruptions.
