The Marstek Venus D 2.2 kW inverter module is the intelligent core of the modular Venus D energy storage system. This powerful hybrid inverter combines AC coupling, solar energy management, and backup power functionality in a single compact unit. Thanks to its modular design, the inverter can be paired with one or more Venus D battery modules, creating a flexible home energy storage solution that can easily expand as your energy requirements grow.
Equipped with four independent MPPT inputs, the Venus D supports up to 4,000 W of solar PV input, allowing multiple panel orientations to be utilized efficiently. The integrated AC-coupling technology provides up to 2,200 W of bidirectional power for charging and discharging through the utility grid. In the event of a power outage, the backup power function switches to off-grid operation within just 15 ms and delivers up to 2,200 VA of continuous output power with a peak output of 2,500 VA.
The inverter supports intelligent energy management through the Marstek app, including AI-optimized charging and discharging schedules, self-consumption optimization, and manual control settings. When combined with compatible smart energy meters, the system can minimize energy export to the grid while maximizing on-site energy consumption.
With Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and RS485 connectivity, integration into modern energy systems is straightforward and flexible. The IP65-rated enclosure enables both indoor and outdoor installation, while natural cooling ensures silent operation without the need for fans. For larger installations, multiple Venus D systems can be connected in parallel in both single-phase and three-phase configurations.
