The Victron Energy Cyrix-ct 12/24-120A Battery Combiner is an intelligent battery management device designed to automatically connect multiple batteries when a charging source is available and disconnect them when charging stops. Featuring an integrated microprocessor, the Cyrix-ct continuously monitors battery voltage and ensures fully automatic and efficient charging distribution between starter and service batteries.

Unlike traditional diode battery isolators, the Cyrix-ct operates with virtually no voltage loss. This allows the full charging voltage from an alternator, battery charger, or other charging source to reach the connected batteries, resulting in more efficient charging and improved battery performance.

The Cyrix-ct features bidirectional voltage sensing, enabling batteries to be connected not only when the starter battery is being charged by the alternator, but also when the service battery is being charged by a battery charger or solar power system. This provides maximum flexibility for mobile and marine energy installations.

Thanks to its intelligent battery monitoring technology, the Cyrix-ct does more than simply measure battery voltage. It also analyses voltage trends over time to prevent unnecessary or repeated switching. This intelligent operation contributes to greater system stability and helps extend the service life of connected batteries.

An integrated temperature protection function safeguards the system against overheating caused by high ambient temperatures or excessive current flow. Once temperatures return to a safe operating range, the Cyrix-ct automatically resumes normal operation. In addition, the unit includes a convenient Start Assist function, allowing batteries to be temporarily connected in parallel to provide extra starting power when needed.
