The Lynx Shunt VE.Can is part of the modular Victron Lynx distribution system, designed to connect batteries, DC equipment and provide fuses with battery monitoring. The Lynx system consists of several modules, including the Lynx Power In, Lynx Shunt and Lynx Distributor. Both the Lynx Distributor and the Lynx Power In can be used with or without the Lynx Shunt. The Lynx Shunt VE.Can is an intelligent 1000A shunt with a location for a fuse (not included). The integrated battery monitor accurately monitors the battery's charge status. This shunt contains a positive bus bar for mounting a fuse and a negative bus bar with a shunt. In addition, the system includes battery monitoring electronics. Through the VE.Can bus, the Lynx Shunt can send battery monitoring information to a CCGX or VGX, or to a third party CANbus monitoring system such as NMEA2000. The CCGX, VGX or external display acts as a battery monitor display and is used to set the built-in battery monitor. The Lynx Shunt is available with a VE.Can connection for easy integration.
The Lynx uses M10 connections exclusively between units, while other connections are M8.
